To give the ball joints more space I added spherical washers/spacers, which I obtained
here [1]
at a reasonable price. You can also get them from
amazon [2], but they are much more expensive there.
There was also a
posting [3]
in the DOFRealityBuilders group on facebook, from which I learned that there are special
"misalignment spacers" or "rod retaining washers" for this purpose.
