A piece of plywood (500x500x18mm) makes for a nice support for the control boxes.
I used a router to make a cutout at the bottom of the board, so that it would rest on the three
arms and not on the heads of the six bolts in the center (which would have been quite unstable). Note that by the time these pictures were taken, the motors were still in the orientation as they were with the original gear boxes. I later noticed that the green brushes cups could interfere with the struts, so I rotated them by 90 degrees.
