VDR version 1.2.0 is now available for download at

  ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/vdr-1.2.0.tar.bz2

The DVB driver I am currently using can be found at

  ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/linux-dvb.2003-05-24.tar.bz2

which is the CVS 'HEAD' version from 2003-05-24, made available as a complete
archive for your convenience. Of course, you can also use any newer version from
the CVS.

A summary of all the changes since the last stable version 1.0.4 can be found at

When updating from version 1.0.4 please make sure you read the INSTALL
and MANUAL files that come with the VDR source _before_ doing so!
Since there have been some major changes in channel and timer handling
please make sure you have backup copies of all your configuration files,
and verify carefully that your timers will be set to the correct channels
after going to this new version.

Thanks to the many people who have contributed in the making, testing and
debugging of this new version of VDR.
